MY START-UP JOURNEY
It has always been my dream to start my own children's fashion label. When I worked as a temp at Tommy Hilfiger in 2010, I bought a baby longsleeve as one of my first pieces and said to myself: "One day I will have my own children's label".
But it was a long and sometimes rocky road until that day came. Through my Bachelor in Fashion Management at the International School of Management, Frankfurt, my semester abroad at the University of the Arts London and my Master in Fashion & Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Hong Kong, it became more and more clear to me that I wanted to start a sustainable and organic baby and kids fashion brand that was also stylish.
Through my studies, I was intensively prepared in terms of taking the step into self-employment and being proactive, and so it came to pass that after many hurdles and challenges of the German tax jungle and bureaucratic madness, I founded my own start-up on Friday, January 13 this year.
